Utah Belt

Is there a Web Page for Eric Broomans Utah Belt?

Can’t wait to see the new layout

No, Eric doesn’t have a Web page, but the December MODEL RAILROADER featuring the new UB is in the mail (or on the truck) now.

Hope you like it,

Andy

If someone wanted to model one of Eric’s engines for there own layout ,is there anyway someone could find out if that was alright and how to go about getting decals and what paint colors?

You are welcome to write to Eric Brooman in care of MODEL RAILROADER (via USPS only). Put your letter in a stamped envelope with Eric’s name on it and send it to us in another envelope. We’ll add the address and send it on.

Best wishes,

Andy

I am inspired by the models of the Utah Belt. Even though I model the east coast, that region has much interest and so many things about it to put in miniature.I am excited to know that I will see it soon.

I truly enjoyed the new Utah Belt article. I would love to see more “how to” articles from Mr. Brooman. He made a comment regarding handlaying turnouts, that it’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it - it would be great to read a how to on how he hand lays a turnout.

Why is it called the Utah Belt? I always thought a belt railroad ran around a city and connected with other railroads, like the Belt Railway of Chicago.I have always been a fan of the Utah Belt,I like the scenery.
