Interesting paint scheme…certainly would standout with the Wasatch mtns in the background…cool

Nice to hear of a new commuter service starting up…But why use the name of a relatively unsuccesful piggyback car?

One of the alternatives considered was Wasatch Area Rapid Transit – WART – Need I say more?

I would ride the WART, just to say I have ridden a WART. [:P] I thought that a commuter service would be great for this area around Sweetwater county, With all the people commuting many miles to the various Trona mines, Coal mines, and the Power and Fertilizer plants, it would be an ingenious idea, They all have a rail link to them, so why not build a siding with a platform and have passenger service right up to the plants or mines? With the farthes Trona mine being almost 40 miles west from Green River, and the Coal mine being 40 miles east form Rock Springs, with all sorts of mines along the way, why not?

I have been watching them prepare the roadbed for rail for sometime now . . . nice to see what will use the roadbed.

I think the most impressive structure will be the bridge that crossed the Ogden Union Terminal Yard.

So the engineer would be a WART-hogger?[:p][:D][:o)][:I][:0][X-)][][%-)][D)][(-D][:-^]

Sounds like a revival of the Bamberger RR interurban service. They have requested tenders for locomotives for this service, it should be interesting to see who submits a bid besides Motive Power Industries.
