Vacation days and some other NT stuff

Hello everyone,

I haven’t been on the board much lately. My apologies. We’ve been putting together our jumbo 25th anniversary issue and it’s been busy. (Stay tuned for some great web extras tied to the issue!)

I will be out of the office Sept. 25 and 26, and I will ask CTT’s Bob Keller to pop in and check on things while I’m away.

In other news, life has become much busier lately. Here’s why:

My parents found a tiny stray kitten last week, whom we have decided to adopt. She’s about 4 weeks old and only 8 ounces. But she’s a cutie!

Guess you did not see Ike Hurricane Pugh (under hurricane thread) I found under some leaves and sticks while pulling big and heavy limbs out of the street (GMC - We are pro grade)

Toad

Ahhhh, what a cutie! [:D]

Keep her flea treated or suffer my fate…especially hard with young kittens. [:O]

You might try Toad’s tea bath formula. On the other hand I’ve become an expert in flea treatment after this summer’s flea-apoluza we had at our place thanks to a sick stray kitten .[sigh]

Diatimacious Earth…two words to remember.[;)]

Yeah I got away from chemicals so I now use Tea Tree shampoo for fleas.

As for Diatimacious Earth it is also great for ants and is not a chemical either. While they place it in your tooth paste too!!! Makes your teeth white.

Ole Toad - Telln what he knows

Don’t worry, guys. I’ve been checking for fleas! The vet didn’t see any and I’ve used a flea comb on her several times and found none. So far, so good.

thats good, so…

Whatcha gonna name it?

I have a nak for cat names: some of ours over the years…

Fat-oid, he really was a chunky

Puss-nut, he really was a nutty

Flea-bisket, she was a cutie

Pussmuffin,

Spudcat,

Squidgie,

MissusPussess,

Puddercat,

Purdyboyfloyd,

Spooky, Spooky Jr, and Spooky Jr2,

Mini-cat, he was a little’un and

Biggus Cattus, he was a big’un

Our current porch cat has a rather dull name by comparison, Spot, but it seams appropriate, but I often just call him Fattycat!

Vic’s extended family tree names…[:D]

Toad

If she’d been a tabby, she would have probably been a Chessie! g

We’ve named her Sadie. I’ve always liked that name for a cat. She seems to like it, but then again, she pretty much comes to anything right now.

Never had a girl. But do like Bree.

Toad

Isnt Bree a cheese? [:D]

I was thinking of a name more like “Pudderflubbins” or something, I always think if your going to give a pet a name why not make it something really unique, its not like the other cats will make fun of him in the schoolyard, but then again my wife wouldnt let me name our chow-chow “Oompaloompa” [swg]

Breeann or Bree Ann -

The girl’s name Breeann *\b-reea-nn* is a variant of Breanna and Brianna.

The baby name Breeann sounds like Breiann, Breeanne, Breeanna, Breeana, Breean, Breann and Brieann. Other similar baby names are Brann, Breiana, Breelyn, Breeauna, Breea, Breanne, Breana, Breehan, Breena, Breen, Brenn, Bryann, Brieanna, Briann and Brogann.

Breeann is a very rare female first name and a very rare surname (source: 1990 U.S. Census).

This name would have been my girls name if I had one but illness makes me not even have any children because what I go through.

Toad

I like Sadie, Our first calico was named Crayons. Had that cat 15 years. She was the Best
