Vancouver Island Union Bay coal docks

Hey,

I’m in the works of planning to build my next layout. It is going to be a prototype operation based on the Union Colleries and Comox logging railroads on Vancouver Island BC. I was wondering if anyone knows where to obtain some track diagrams of the area (if they exist) especially the areas of union bay docks, royston, courtenay (E&N), and Cumberland. Thanks a bunch

I am not sure it this is it, but here is a satellite photograph of a coal dock in the area. You can pan around and zoom in.

yeah that’s the one in vancouver. The coal docks that i want to model were torn down in the 60’s. i guess i’ll just have to go and visit the site and some of the local museums.
