Vandals target Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

They need JOBS. MOW for a few months may fix this issue

“The two men fled on bikes.”

Men? Sounds like kids.

Hollywood will probably reward them by making a movie about the caper.

I just don’t understand the mentality of these criminals. In the first place, they have nothing to show for their crime. It is not like stealing money or merchandise, where they could get money to spend. So they took the risk of getting caught and punished for nothing.Second, they made their getaway on bicycles instead of a car where they could have easily been caught. I don’t get it.

When I was riding bicycles I was afraid to even climb on railroad equipment much less torch it.

Odds are there is not a father in either case.

Bicyclists are not all criminal, stupid and immature. I am 74 and I do not vandalize trains.

Catch the and use them as cross ties!

We had vandals break in the Jackson Street Roundhouse in St. Paul, MN. They cut cables and tried to make off with as much copper as possible. Some were caught a few nights later but the damage was extensive. Our new security system didn’t do much good until a dumb one stayed too long and got caught by police.

Hope they catch them

I hope the authorities take the fun out of willful destruction away from those bastards involved,

Hey Lawrence ease up on the submit button!

Getting away by car may be faster, but it’s hard to split up if one person is chasing you. Bottom line is that they got away! Most likely copper thieves. They’re after tubing, wires, pipes, or other hard-to-find fixtures.
