Vaping to be banned on Amtrak?

I read one of the Congress critters slipped in a provision in the current Infrastructure bill that will ban vaping on all Amtrak trains once the bill becomes law.

No surprise. Vaping may not be “smoking” smoking but I’m sure a lot of people would find it just as annoying.

I’m a smoker myself, but have no problem abstaining in the places it’s prohibited. I can wait.

As far as I know vapping is not allowed already and those sensitive to second hand nicotine as a vascular contrictorr could send me to the ER in a hurry

Even though smoking is not allowed, railroads should install these ashtrays just for the neat effect:

My son’s vaping never fails to remind me of that obnoxious Spencer’s Gifts smell that probably contributed to the demise of shopping malls.
