Verticle boilers?

I’m going to kneed alot of these, whats the best wayto create them? Yes i have several feet of pipe. Ready willing and able(and done) to make errors. I don’t even rilly know what they look like. any pics?

Depends what are you trying to model, vertical boilered locomotive or donkey engine or ???

They also made a geared steam loco -very highly regarded compared to the Shay which it was based on. My model for the Shay type loco is based on the one from “The Washington Iron Works” which was a complete disaster -which is why I HAD to build it!!!

Darn I was hopeing that i could add metal to the side and a few dietail parts to get it to work on the 10 ft rule. For the workings of it I was going to sacrifice a few old HO steamers and use the running gear to make it work.
