Hi, I am booked on Via the end of the Month
between Tto and Mtl. Since I am planning to do some train spotting in Montreal, I was wondering if anybody had the Scanner Freqs that Via uses at present.

I don’t have my copy with me, but this is covered in the book Canadian_Trackside_Guide. The 2002 issue should come out in March.
As well as details of scanner frequencies, it lists almost everything you could want to know for trainspotting in Canada.

The book is usually out about now. I expect to get a copy at the Toronto railway show this weekend, but most of the hobby shops should have it as well.
There’s over 10 pages of frequencies, but if I read it right, the end-to-end frequency is 161.415 for CN.
