VIA Rail enters partnership with Jordanian airline
Good news but given VIA’s new restrictive luggage policy (one piece of 40 lbs or two of 25lbs) it does not seem to be consistent with most airlines’ policies of one large piece, plus one carry-on piece. How strictly will VIA enforce this? Especially as many overseas travelers often pay for excess pieces as well.
I look forward to flying to Amman Jordan on my next trip overseas on VIA Rail, should be an exciting trip and a first trip !!!
Only a good deal if you can check your luggage at a VIA rail Station. Lots of luck. It would only service the Toronto - Montreal run, Ottawa - Montreal and possibly the Ocean from Halifax. I would like to see how many took advantage of this. I would guess less thqn 1 a week
