VIA Rail marks renovation of Brockville station

As a college student in upstate NY in 1956-58, I would hitchhike to Ogdensburg, NY and take the river ferry to Prescott, ON and a CN local to Brockville for a day of train watching. Great place, with mainline CN and branchline CP action. Both railways had loco servicing facilities there. Buying local “Black Diamond” Cheddar cheese was another treat.
