VIDEO: Bachmann Forney locomotive

I cannot wait to start building my outdoor layout next year so I can start operating my trains. Having been able to actually be the engineer on one of these 2ft formeys at the Maine Narrow Gauge Museum, I want one!-BADLY!!
Thank you Bachmann. Now how about a few passenger cars for this locomotive??

Great versatility and super detail. Realistic in all aspects.

Thanks, very nice engine in deed

Reviewers never seem willing to discuss if LGB horn & hook couplers can be mounted in place of knuckle couplers.

Looks like another good Bachmann product that would be right on any narrow guage layout. Now I must go out in the yard and see if I can find my track and layout. It is now being affectionally as the lost right of way.
Not much activity lately.

Great looking steam engine. Thank you for showing.

Allready a proud owner of this beautiful loco.I bought it from Dragon G Scale in the UK it was fitted for DCC and sound and runs and pulls very well.

this looks great, i think i will have to get one asap. to go with my two consolidations and my other 1:20.3

Another premier product from Bachmann. Beautiful engine and detailing. In the Philadelphia area, it is possible to visit the Bachmann distribution and service center; a great place with great folks! Always willing to assist you and to show you what is new. A great asset to the hobby.

I enjoyed the video and info of the engine.

I’ve started saving for one since seeing the review. I’m hoping I may be able to convert it to a 0-6-4T to model the Calumet & Hecla Mining Co #3, the Torch Lake, which can be seen at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI. I’d really like to see a second run of Forneys in the 0-6-4T arrangement. That would make the conversion easy. Thank you Bachmann!

I certainly liked the Bachmann On30 version which delights me everytime it’s run so the thought of the G scale loco has my heart pounding. The 2ft NG is my favourite prototype in the US, as are the various 2ft did here in Tassie. As Gary Farkash remarked be good to see some passenger cars, too.

Looks good

I thought this forney was a steam operated locomotive.

I must be slipping I forgot to mention the trumpet, sorry guys, well done video though. thank you.

Nice looking Loco, Bachmann have done it again, can’t wait to get one.
Mike.
