This looks a great model and the sound seemed very, very good.
I think Bachmann did an exellant job giving this locomotive the extra details and sounds to make running it an uplifting experience. Since I model in On30, I’m going to have to “get me one of those.”

The exhaust is not synchronized with driver rotation. There are only about 2 exhausts per revolution. Operation up close and running slow will emphasize the syncronization defect. The bad sync will be obvious to any person who has seen and heard a steam locomotive operate. That being said, it looks quite nice.
I think this is one of the best product videos I’ve seen from MR. Thank you for not overdoing the “whistle time” and allowing the chance to take in all of the other sound features. My only suggestion would be to not move the camera on one of the run-bys. The locomotive motion looked a little jerky to me, but I have the feeling it was from the camera panning to follow the engine. Overall though, a great looking model with one of the best sound systems I’ve seen. Amazing value - keep up the good work Bachmann!

Apart from the chuff sound being a bit out of sync a very nice looking and sounding model. I will defiantly be buying one.

i hope the exhaust chuff rate is adjustable.
I think it’s neat, but I heard some of the sounds from my consolidation with sound, showing that they need a few different sounds.

It is a great looking and sounding locomotive but the two beats per revolution is very distracting.
Looks like a little engine still running in the cuban sugarmill’s named “CUBA LIBRE”
