It is great to see and hear the “Whistling John” (as in the tractor with a turbo) available in the Sound Value lineup. So many railroads had S-2s, that this should be a hit.

Am I correct in assuming that the loco in the video was running under DCC control, not straight DC? I’d love to hear the latter, since I haven’t equipped my layout for DCC.

For a Bachmann locomotive it runs well and it looks good too. I purchased a Bachmann FA-2 and it runs well on DC. Nice looking s-2!
I have an S2 by Bachmann and the sound is very quiet compared to yours. Probably need to program it.
