It requires a larger radius than I can give it.
very nice video dana kalmbach feed looks good engines much better have fun we are crt/friends 4m 4w
Some nick-names for the Baldwin Centipede in my day were:
Crazy Legs, Hundred Legger, and Daddy Longlegs. It looks great as a model! I wonder how long it took the engine house gang to lubricate that monster?
Thanks for a great review.

An outstanding presentation with great video and outstanding demos. You guys are really getting very good.
I would sure have liked to have seen the real thing come up the hill to the Curve from Altoona. !!!
Fun to watch!!
Wow! Nifty model! Though you can see “through” it a lot. Best viewed from a higher angle, perhaps… The 1:1 units must have been quite something!
it strikes me that the RED facia boards on the layout detract strongly…Marc
I agree - they are great looking, and smooth operating. Got my pair (single stripe) from lst run. In 1956 PRR had 2 stored at old 49th st terminbal in West Phila (adjacent to Parkside Ave)…many evenings myself and another PRR fan climbed over them. Bring back fond memories.

That was a very poor review.
need two units to pull anything over five 88 ft passenger cars
sound is incredible units are beautiful
Does it have any engine noise? I could barely hear it. The Bell was clear and so was the horn. I even hear the rooster. But the engine sounds just didn’t come through.
N scale next???
Another excelient product from Bradway Limited and their Paragon 2 line. The vidio could have more on the running abilities of the model. This type of information and vidio is always fanastic. I will like to see what is next. Thank You.
I have never seen a real one but this one looks good to me.
Hi Dennis,
The video was to show the model in action. There’s a link to the review below the video player, as well as in the January issue of Model Railroader.
Thanks,

A friend has a pair of PRR units and has run them on our club layout. In general, appearance is great. Pulling power is OK, but limited by only 3 of the 4 axles in each power truck being powered. One concern is performance when pushing a string of equipment. The pilot tends to derail most likely as a result of the design that allows operation on sharp curves. Since the PRR units spent a lot of their life in pusher service, anyone planning of using the units in that way should take note.
Nice video, Dana. Running characteristics appear to be very good. The model’s appearance and sound is really impressive. BLI has a winner!
Why city and farm sounds coming out of a diesel loco’s body?
