In Model Railroader you have all the nice track plans. How do you do you copy the layout then transfer it into the track plan your artist draws? I would like, as well as the rest of us the secret behind getting some ones layout from real world on to the page of MR as an Artist Track Plan.

The first thing to which I navigate when the MR Cyber-letter arrives is the Bay Junction series report. (Sorry, Cody.) This upgrade to the MR&T is rolling along beautifully. Next thing, perhaps, should be the group of reports edited together, to be sold on DVD or download. (Don’t worry, when this series completes, Cody’s Office will move back to First Thing I Watch.

Could you put the corn syrup track plan into MR for us. It would be a nice small industry to model. Other small industries would also be appreciated.

Who is the gentleman working on the bridge? We never see him explain what he is doing.

Hi Guys! I really enjoy watching your video updates of the work you do on the MRT layout! Could I suggest a little more light be used when you shoot video of dark coloured tank cars as the detail of the shelf coupers was hard to see. Keep up the great work!!

I find your Bay Junction project very inspiring, a realistic modern layout in the trend of Lance Mindheim and Pelle Soeborg. Keep on your good work.

this Bay Junction addition will be very helpful to me, as I have an 18" wide x 12’ long shelf section on my layout . The use of relief buildings is definitely a plus on this type of layout and the variety of buildings is holding my interest very much. I had thought of adding a corn syrup facility and your presentation will be the inspiration for mine.

The MR Staff and the MR&T layout continues to be an inspiration to us modelers, no matter what era or scale we choose to model. Andy’s corn syrup plant shows how we can kitbash, add additional models like the Pikestuff kit, the Nu Comp trailer for the truckers, the Walthers Bulk Oil tanks, + the other building kits, and actually place small industries virtually anywhere that space may be limited. Innovation!

After waching the video, you mentioned using bulk oil tanks for your syrup loading facility. Do you know what part number that was? I looked in the catalog, but couldn’t locate that style. Thanks.

good to see Corn Products is taking shape all it needs is a fence and some locked gates to protect the workers when they are loading syrup.
