I never thought weight was much of an issue, but it wouldn’t hurt to add weight to my N scale cars.
Being from Australia and not able to remenber the conversion factors for oz to grams I’ll have to put together a spread sheet to speed up the calcultions. I have been able to pick up some of the old (used) stick on weights from a Tire Dealer for a couple of bucks and now have a glue gun to attach them to my models. A weigh we go.
Do you have the part # for the moldable lead weights?
Greatly informative, I learned a lot. Thanks!

help cody But I am having trouble How can I do it by Tank car
Cody is right just like the prototype an overloaded car can cause a derailment. cars must weigh no more then 1/2 an ounce for N Scale and 1 ounce for HO plus the length of the car. if the car is too heavy remove the weights if it is too light add some but don’t over shoot. the weight limit for N Scale is 1 ounce for HO in is 2 ounces.
