Video Clip Links to sound equipped locomotives

Hello Crew,

Here’s the link:

Pretty cool! It’s nice that BLI got the GP20 right as you can hear the turbo-charger being used in conjunction with the EMD 567.

The E7 clip made me laugh. [(-D][#wstupid] It sounds good, but its funny how it comes barreling through at about 80 scale mph and stops at the station cold turkey like a Volkswagon Bug!

The two BLI GE’s sound sweet! It’s one thing to go to BLI’s website and hear the clips, but it’s neat when you can see the units in action.

Enjoy![:)][:D][8D][;)]

Some cool stuff there. Thanks for sharing Antonio!!
Chris

Actually, it was a P2K GP20.
That was really cool, thanks for the link! They seemed a bit high pitch, is this just a combination of computers, or do they actually sound like that?

Antonio,

Fun stuff! Thanks for the link… [:D]

Jeff

Glad you like them, guys!

Trainboy,

Thanks for the correction on that Geep 20.

Re your question: Don’t forget that the sound you’re hearing from those video clips are compressed.

When you see and hear the actual models in front of you, it’s a sweet experience! The Soundtraxx equipped Santa Fe units don’t sound bad either! (though prototypically, the horn on the E3 / E6 unit should have been a “honker”)

10-4. [:D]
