Simply unbelievable…this is the closest call I’ve ever seen! [:O] A drunken woman stumbled onto the tracks at Boston North Station on the MBTA Orange Line, then passengers on the platform flagged down the approaching train and stopped literally inches away from her. It looks like she touched the 660-volt third rail for a fraction of a second.

I just looked at the video, I didn’t read the story.

Was anyone injured on the train during the emergency stop?

The driver “pulled on the emergency break”.

Nonetheless, she’ll get some well-deserved recognition for stopping the train in time.
