Very good, I love old logging trains with all there working gear. My layout will be of loading rail cars aboard ships. I’m 70 years old and I’m trying to get back into it. This Heisler looks great and sounds great. I love these product reviews and keep up the good work.

Looks like a good locomotive for the saw mill and logging layout.
I just got mine yesterday and I’m very happy with the slow speed, detail and sounds. A well made model but at first the whistle reminded me of Shay #5 at Cass Scenic Railroad in W. Virginia then it seemed the whistle sounded like Godzilla,s screach in the first movie!
I have an old Rivarossi Three truck Heisler that I bought while I was in high school. Although I don’t model in HO anymore, I still have fond memories of that loco.
Excellent model, love the sound effects, but isn’t the chuff rate out of sync with the speed?
You just can’t beat a Heisler for an Awesome steam loco!!!
