one didnt dry all the way and it fell on my locomotive LOL!!!
Really great! I was going to use full-fledged trees but this looks so much easier and less costly! I’ll just have to find poly fiber somewhere. Thanks so much for this video.
A previous tip said that MicroMark sells Black Poly Fiber in a 12 oz. package. Catalog #84907
This seems a very wasteful use of material, ie compressing the light and airy poly fiber and then slopping that into a tray of more material that gets wet. The poly can be shaped into a ball without glue, sprayed with hair spray and then foam sprinkled over the ball. This really is a terribly wasteful way to make trees.
cool.
it was great .there are a ton of diffrent ways to do this to.
thanks staff of MR
Excellent demonstration of scenery. Keep up the good work.
Nice trick, thanks
now i have something to do this winter - great video!
Great idea, I think I will stop trying to get them from shops. will try this at home. We get white poly fiber here, coloring the poly may require some better paint or may be we can add a paint “stainer” to the adhesive ?
Good way to cover my rolling hills. This will be a good winter project.
Nice video.
great tips that i can apply to my lay out, Thanks.
How many puffballs can u get out of the 12 o.z. package
Everytime I try to use your video, I can’t sound. What must I do?
thanks for the video. Now i can start on my scenery on my layout this winter
very good so much to learn in this hobby
Wonderful idea, where can you get the poly fiber material at, craft stores or home centers
Nice demo, will work well on my N scale layout.
Thank you for this demo video. It gave me the confidence to try the technique and I found the results to be excellent. The “Basic Training” series is a great way to introduce these techniques. I look forward to many more.
