good idea i am so doing this
That material kind of looks like the tool box drawer liners that Sears sells under the Craftsman name!
I tride todo the lines with a small paint brush ,it did’t turn out
to good . Your method looks good, I’m going to try it.
Thanks for the tip.
thanks that is a cool way to do a parking lot.
great tips
Very nicely done.
I politely suggest using a paint marker instead of a sharpie.
They come in many colors, cost around $10 depending on where you buy them, and give the pavement lines a realistic “fatness” that a sharpie misses.
Templates are almost always a good idea.
Great idea on how to make a parking lot!Gonna try it!
I have a similar idea using a product from the roofing/shingle business, called ice shield. I went to my roofong company and asked for some scrap pieces. It has an adhesive backing and the asphalt surface is just great for road surfaces, and parking areas.
Just a little explanation, Ice Shield is used under the first few layers of shingles as they start to bottom edge of the roof.
Good video
Such a simple but yet great solution to the “parking lot” dilemma. Good job guys!!
What a timely article. I am now at that stage in my parking lot(s)
when the markings go down and I now have a fail safe way of applying the lines, etc.
THANK YOU!
Thanks guys, now i know how to do the parking lot of my diner and train station.
Neat!
Cool idea. I will have to look for this product.
First time visit, very nice!
Very useful. However, you didn’t mention what Polly Scale paint you used to flatten the sheen of the material.
Wow! Thanks to you guys, I have found all the video help I needed to finish the scenery of my club module. Now I know how to build that parking lot for my Farm Supply store.
Nice idea! I wonder if the foam trackbed strips would work for modeling old blacktop county roads?
What are the standard dimensions of a parking lot space so we can draw the lines to scale
