Video: Inside the April 2014 Model Railroader
Neil as all way nice job on Telling whats coming in the next issue of MRM… One little thing turn down the music or just turn it off.We want to hear you not the music which it sounds like you are both competing together…Thanks ,and Happy Model Railroading:}
I agree, the music is too much. Low background or none.
Robert Sturgis: I was not bothered enough to comment, but I agree that the audio mixing here should be more in favor of Neil’s voice. But far worse is an early VHS/DVD video by a well known national firm (not Brand P) that has real train sounds (great!), PLUS a loud narrator voice (well okay, but…), PLUS loud elevator-quality “music” (arrrrgggh, noooooo)–all at the same time!! Published reviews touted the high-quality video, but later videos eliminated that horrible filler music except at the beginning and end–a huge improvement. Now if every train video would also show the entire freight or passenger train–not just the locomotives–I would be in video heaven.
Looking forward to the April Fool’s gag as usual, but never did catch it last year. Anyone remember?
Turn the music down ,we want to hear Neil,
