am going to build a garden railroad this coming spring when I do some land scaping. I’m hoping to build it in a 20X40 space. This gave an idea on a spur line. Thank Great film, Paul Newhouse

Being rather “challenged” regarding wiring directions with some of the writers, I wonder if people doing this could not use the "electrical " terminology and use more plain English. I am not a wiring whiz and have no idea HOW to do some of these things . In fact, I usually quit reading the article when it get SO techncal… I realize there are certain aspects that might be helpful to a seasoned person, but to us non- electricians, HELP ???

I love the story on the Rose’s railway. It makes me want to move to my new home so I can finally build the garden railroad of my dreams! Once I get track, a train, and a transformer. LOL! Maybe I can set up some O Gauge track out there every time I want to run the train. Build the scenery and stuff, then on a nice Saturday or after school if I have no homework, I can pull out some track and set it up.

Have been reading Garden Railways now for many years and have only just got around to registering on your website. Enjoyed the Summerlands “chuffer”.

Great article on the “Triple Falls RR”. Rocks, rocks and more rocks, wonderfully employed-from my part of NJ rocks are in great abundance and I perk up when I see them used as effectively as on the "Triple Falls.Look forward to every issue.

Another good issue - well done. The Triple Falls RR shows how fascinating building a line on a challenging site can be - just like the real thing!

Well, Hector, it may be a stupid use for YOUR garden, but some of us enjoy the trains and the rewards that come from making something beyond the run-of-the-mill.
