I thought it was a great layout. I am from Chicago and have recently began model railroading (2 months) it reminded me of this things I would want to include in my layout of the Illinois Central RR and the 12th St Central station. Once again great job!!!.

I can’t tell you how great it felt to see the video of this layout.
My dad was an engineer for CNW for 20 years. He hand painted CNW markings on his HO trains, back in the days before decals. He even found real ore among other real materials to haul in his freight cars. I just wish he was still with us so I could share the story of this layout with him. The HO layout I’m building combines CNW with Wisconsin Central. After seeing this video I can hardly wait for the April MR issue.
