Here its 2011 and I am just getting around to exploring the subscriber website and seeing this layout tour from 2008. It is wonderful! And to think that these guys actually have unfinished layouts like the rest of us “mortals”. It is good to see you guys having fun and to see the good work that you do outside of the magazine. I very very much enjoyed the peek at those writers (with whom I feel some how aquainted after years of reading them) layouts. Thanks to the builders for showing them and thanks for sharing the informal fun of the Saturday outing, away from the office.
This was almost as much fun as a trip to PRR Horsehoe Curve country and a weekend stay at the Station Inn, Cresson Pa. (breakfast included).
Great idea to showcase you staff layouts. I will be looking forward to seeing more and hearing about the variations in your individual construction techniques. Thanks.
