Great scenery and consists. See one problem though. The track in front of the barn shows all cars almost derail.
Excellent scenery and detailing. Really like the appearance of the hand laid trackwork. It would be nice to see a video of your technique. Also appreciated the panorama view of the layout to provide an overall perspective of dimension. Great job!
Kudos to the painter of the backdrop, very well done.
Very nice layout! Why don’t you weather your rollingstock or put diaphrams between your engines and passenger cars?
Backdrop added depth to layout. On two of the shots I noticed car jurking/rolling sidways. First shot was at the crossing and into what appeared to be a switch. Then again on a shot of the orange passenger run. Hand laid track is over my head but you did a great job. So good that it makes any unusal movement stick out. Maybe later you can smooth those out to make the runs look great and sound is very realistick. Like the pressure release hiss as it basses. Great layout.
The really liked the backdrop on this layout, in particular the farm scene with the fields heading off to the horizon.
I admire all the great scenery work done here, which is beautifully done. The video is also very well done. I suggest that you keep an ear out in future videos for background talking. I find it annoying and distracting; it also diffuses the magic.
Fantastic layout! There’s a lot there in a little amount of space, which is such a great benefit of N-scale. Nice job on the scenery and the structures.
Tremendous effort with great results in a small space. One can see a lot of pride I your layout. Thanks for being an enthusiast for our hobby.
Really nice layout! I am new to the model railroading hobby, and I have a set on my wishlist on www.modeltrainstuff.com. I will have to go N scale due to space limitations. I have a corner of my utility room set aside for a ‘shortline’ set up on a 60" x 40" table. I had a train set as a kid many years ago,…I miss it,…and seeing this makes me want to get back into model railroading. Mine wasn’t anywhere near as elaborate as this, though!
The background nr the farm is amazing!! Looks so real and trhe perspective really works as you look at it. Great job whoever painted that!!
