Ah for the days when there were Amtrak trains on both lines there at Peck Park – the ATSF below and the BN up above. Those were also the days when Railroad Days in Galesburg was a really spectacular event, with locomotives and rolling stock on display from both railroads, Amtrak, GE and EMD, not to mention the railroad museums at Union or Monticello IL or Duluth MN and sometimes working steam and excursions down to Yates City.
