When I lived up by joliet the Union Station was my favorite place to hang out and watch trains !!!
Yes it is a neat place. Benches, bathrooms certainly far more civilized railfanning then in the middle of nowhereville [:)]
Yes plus there is plenty of cheap parking , several good resteruants close by and lots of trains!!!
