If anyone would like to see it, here’s a video I took at work of a NS train (at least some of it) crossing our main entrance. The quality isn’t the best because I was just using my digital camera’s video feature (no sound), but I think you guys might like it nonetheless:

what power were they using? i couldnt tell, was the first unit a high nose?

To me it looked like all G.E. Dash 9’s?

From looking at the numbers here what they were:

2 C40-9W’s (first was on Operation Lifesaver paint) and a (new phase 3) SD70M.

The third unit didn’t look like an SD70M but I saw a “2590” which proved it was.

Almost every locomotive that passes on those rails is a Dash 9. Occasinally you see a Dash 8, some in Conrail paint scheme, some even in NS primer grey.
