Video: Sam Novello’s HO scale New England & North Coast

This is one of the most impressive urban-oriented railroads I’ve seen recently. I loved the article in MR and the all-too–short video adds to the article. I especially liked Gloucester city.

Spectacular scenery Sam. I’m working on an 1890s era village port scene and your layout gives me something to aspire to, although it will be hard to match!

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Captures New England well. I look forward to seeing the issue.

very nice layout

Many model railroaders who model harbor scenes take great pains with their trains, structures and vehicles but their ships and boats are crude and unprototypical, Sam has avioded that trap with a really nice tugboat and an authentic New England dragger ( fishing boat ). Great work!

The detail is amazing. Can’t wait to read the article.

This is an encouragement, since I only have 11 x 11 for a layout. Small space doesn’t have to mean limited.

Excellent detail to the waterftont scenes. Also I liked the realism ofthe town ares and scenes. Great job Sam.

Outstanding layout!

Love the ocean setting as I grew up in Vancouver B.C.! Ocean looks realistic with ship yard activity! Very complicated scenery- oh take me down to the sea again!

Lovely scenery.

very nice lots of good scenery very well done makes me jelous

Fantastis layout. Great detail, I am envious.

Do away with the background music. Use layout sound affects.

Great attention to detail on this layout!

Great layout. Lots of details. The video needs to be full screen for further viewing.
Thanks for the video.

Nice. Well done. For those new to the hobby as myself these shots are inspirational

Enjoyed the visit Sam. Looks realistic although I live near Rockport and it doesn’t look anything like that. Rockport, Texas that is! Great work!

Can’t wait to get my July issue ! I hope there are a lot of pictures.
