Does anyone do their own Video tapeing of Trains? I do. Allan.
Have done some taping of my Zephyr trips but rest are professionals I have. I do enjoy going thru them at anytime.
I have enough trouble thinking about 1 frame at a time. I’m not sure I could handle 30 frames every second.
Yes I use a tripod for the camcorder so I can take digital pix as well. In fact right now I am watching a trip to S. California & Nevada I made in 02 as I type this
I’m with Chris on this one…
Take life 1 frame at a time. [:P]
I’ve been videotaping trains since 1992. I have over 100 tapes that I’ve done.

OH YES, I do LOTS of videotaping…in fact, that’s really all I do. After I have an hour of train footage, I upload it into my computer, edit it, add narration and stuff, and burn it on to a DVD. I have made 10 DVDs. I really like videotaping trains because when you play it back, it’s just like you’re seeing the train again for the first tme. I have lots of tape of BNSF and Amtrak, with some UP and Norfolk Southern. And I even have one clip featuring an SD70ACe…I’m glad I brought my camcorder that time!
Interesting.
