Why is video 1 in with video 3?
Did you use Kato Unitrack and DCC on your layout?
To Sebastian, it literally says exactly that on the video description.
An excellent video of one of my favorite MR project layouts!
Great layout, would have liked to see him go through an operating session though.
What is the color chip number for the blue backdrop?
Very good layout,in smal space. Congratulation
This is a very good layout! Nice job everyone, this is simply great! The Salt Lake Route in N SCALE is a dream come true. This could probably be doubled in size if one has room enough to do so.
Dick used several applications to bring this layout to life. The landscaping is excellent as is the general theme. Not to be picky, but the road ramp to the overpass seemed to have an unrealistic elevation. Overall I enjoyed the article, and Dick did a great job.
This layout is perfect for my needs. I have purchased a lot of Kato track and wanted to see a layout designed for the use of this product. I shall look forward to the various steps that will result in a finished layout. Like Mr. Christianson, I feel the Kato track is an outstanding choice.
Very informative
Looking forward to learning more concerning how Dick utilized Kato Unitrack in the building of this very cool project railroad. Also, wiring the layout for DCC will make for some good reading.
I will be looking forward to learning more as I intend to build a similar layout for my grandkids.
Very Nice!!!

Love the new project layout! I enjoyed the video and can’t wait to see more about it. I especially like how this project layout explains on how to start a layout from the ground up (like research and design). Guess I better start planning my next layout after this seires!
Being from the Mojave Desert area, I like the way you did the desert treatment. But miss seeing the Yucca’s, saquero and Joshau trees.
Wow, a layout on wheels, great concept Mr. Christianson. I really like the Amtrak and the bridge scene. Nicely done.
Outstanding model work, Dick. Have you ever thought about starting your own business doing this type of work? You’d be
very good at it.
I’ve already created a free-lance RR to run next to the UP trains for this layout. Now only if they made the motive power I like in N scale. Great job on the layout Dick.
Very nicely presented. Nice concepts and thought provoking ideas…and I still sat here waiting for the punchline…
I like the hidden drawer for the DCC unit shown in the video. I can’t wait to see some more tricks done on the project layout from Dick Christianson .
