Beautiful layout, Paul.

Wow Paul , I just read your wonderful CTT article and enjoyed seeing your video too. Nice lighting, scenery and trains!

Very nice.

Entertaining and informative. Love the scartch-built locomotives. Good job.

Well done layout

Awesome.

Some of the best scenery I’ve ever seen. I like how the Armour Yellow blends so nicely with the yellow Shell cars and accessories. Simple, yet elegant. Hope your new layout goes well and we get to see it, down the road.

nicely done

Sweet vid, Paul!

Visually very engaging. I agree those yellow colors really popped and made for a beautiful layout. However, that green monster stole the show. I’ve never seen anything like that. I hope it will be discussed in the article.

OH!!!
The bloody muzak!!!

Thanks to all of you for your many compliments. We all belong to a great fraternity of friends sharing a terrific hobby. The green Union Pacific Maintenance of Way train is an MTH Proto 2 Weed Sprayer unit with trailing tank cars. The Rail Detector Car and F-3 diesels are also MTH products.
As for the scenery and backdrop, I fully explain in the article how to achieve the realistic look of the great Southwest. My next project will replicate todays BNSF railroad and the transcon in Abo Canyon, New Mexico. Look for it in a future issue of Classic Toy Trains.

Great equipment there and a really nice layout.

One of the best theme layouts I’ve seen. The colors of the Union Pacific are fanrtastic especially that yellow passenger train.

Wonderful… next time don’t switch the still scenes so fast.
