Keep up the great content…I can’t get enough!!
The videos are a great idea and really add a lot to the model evaluation. I agree with David Brooks though that they should be downloadable for later viewing. The model looks very good and seems to run smoothly. It would be nice to see a start from stop sequence for slow running performance. That whistle though…nasal congestion…
The best realistic steam sound I ever heard on an HO loco.
This video gave a tasteful idea on how dynamic of the model look like. Great!!
Keep up the great work. A pitty that the engine is to big for my layout, outherwise I like to have one. Great movement and sound.
It would really be nice if dial-up customers had the ability to download these videos for viewing.
I would also like to download some of these videos. Is there others that we may have missed? Since this is available, how about a “Library” so we could go and compare other engines? I admire the workmanhip of this engine. It definantly goes faster than 1:1 scale!!
Good sound smooth operation all you need is a little smoke out various spot and it would be just about perfect
Great video of this locomotive, wish I could run one this large on my little layout. The sound seamed to be in balance with its movement.
Nice video. A good ole steamboat whistle would be better, but I have no idea what whistle these engines had when delivered (I’m not THAT old.) It doesn’t take much imagination to see a light haze of coal smoke coming from the stack in the video as the engine passes. Bell leaves a little to be desired. The model easily handles 15 cars on my layouts grades, which are about 2%. Looks like it has plenty of tractive effort left. With a 2-8-8-2 helper… say, is it getting warm in here? (pant, pant)
Great clip. To short though. Great looking Locomotive.
Great Video, almost makes me wish I was running steamers and got my 7 mos. Baby’s attention so I had to play it twice…lol
Good job from Walthers.
Fantastic! Love those big rigid locos! Can’t wait for an entrepreneurial manufacturer to provide us with a Union Pacific Class 9000 4-12-2 - with appropriate sound, of course!
Not sure if it was my LCD monitor, but the video quality looked dark so that I couldn’t see any of the fine details when the camera zoomed out. Also, this and previous videos seem to be reduced quality, with quite noticeable digital artifacts, especially with motion. A higher bandwidth video would be better, but to cater for dial-up users there should also be a lower resolution file available.
Couldn’t get any motion on my connection but I like big power. Have several Bachman 2-6-6-2’s that proform well on my 2% grades.
That is pretty neat. I think that the whistle tone is disappointing. Your scenery looks very convincing. Good production.
Felicitaciones. Es un video excelente!!
The engine sure looked great, and glad to see it in ICRR, but the bell & whistle leave some to be desired.
Great looking locomotive. The video gives me a chance to evaluate the model.
