Video

Is anyone else still getting the Dream, Plan, Build videos? The last two I’ve received have been “Real Rails” editions. The most recent came today and the timing could’t have been better. The title is : Horseshoe Curve

The timing is great becuse tomorrow I’m traveling out to Pittsburgh ( I live just north of Philadelphia ) and I’ll be taking Amtrak. Of course the highlight of the trip is the pass through “the curve” but I think on the trip out it’ll be dark by the time we hit it, but on the way back it’ll definately be daylight.

Getting back to the video I have a portable DVD player so I’m going to watch it on the train during the trip out, along with another video of Blind Faith live from Hyde Park in 1969. I’m not sure what I’m going to watch on the trip back.

This video didn’t come with a medallion so I’m wondreing if they discontinued them or did they just forget to put one in the box?

I received the Horseshoe Curve DVD in today’s mail. I haven’t had a chance to watch the DVD yet, but the chapter titles sound pretty interesting. By the way; no medallion in my box, either.

Don Z.

I appreciate rail history, but , I returned that one without even looking at it. My interest are western rail, SP. Been to horseshoe because I live in PA. I just felt it didn’t fit my interests.

I recieved mine last week. No medallion. My second coin holder is looking pretty bare. [#dots]

Same here.

I’m more into western roads but I do find the eastern railroads very interesting. I enjoyed it. No medallion.

I don’t think they are sending the medallions with the Real Rails Editions. I kept this DVD also because I didn’t see the VHS version, but this issue is just a DVD copy of the Kalmbach Horseshoe Curve VHS.

Maybe so, but this slacker (Me, SV) never got any of the VHS stuff so it’s all new to me.

where can I order these dvd’s?
