videos of model trains

I am relatively new to the computers (work in progress) but I was wondering if anyone has any infromation on model train video sites? I have found a one or two sites. Some day I would like to place a video cam on my railroad? Is this something that is becoming more and more frequent? I think there is nothing better then a birds eye view of your train set. Also are these sites virus free? Any info on web sites would be appreatiated.

Hello Mike. [:D]

Click on the link below. Got this from Fiverings’ post, back around Easter 2004. [:)]

Good footage of sharp looking model passenger trains crusing on a club layout! Realistic scenery. The Southern Pacific E-unit is sound equipped. Probably a Broadway-Limited unit. I have Media Player 9 and the videos ran without a hitch. [;)]

MIke and you other guys. Share your opinions when you see the videos. Let us know what you think! [:)][:D][8D][:p][8)]

Hey! Cool videos! I really like the Great Northern Train.[:)]

Cool videos. I liked them all.

Here’s one you can buy from Japan http://www.ghz-link.com/global/product/tc9.html . I saw an ad for it in MR.

I have one. It’s pretty cool. Works on DC or DCC (or I assume Marklin AC). NTSC TV picture.

I am still testing it. Getting a bit of interference, which may be dirty tracks/wheels [:I]. Haven’t seen a good colour picture yet, as the cameraI have doesn’t work under incandescent light, only fluoro or natural light. They say they can supply them with a filter built in for incandescent lighting. I will try soon on somebody’s layout with fluoros. But it looks promising, and it sure is small. Full motion and colour. And not too expensive especially compared to eg the Marklin one.
