I have not bought an engine in several years. I was looking at the RK Virginia Anthracite Coal camel back engine. 30-1401-1. If I got it, I would like to get cars to go with it. Does anyone know if mth made them?
Thanks

MTH did not make any rolling stock for this engine. I had to resort to making my own. If you would like help in doing that let me know.

If I remember correctly, I think Weaver Models made some coal hoppers.
Go to page 13 of the 2005 Fall Catalog. There is an Anthracite Blue Coal hopper pictured there. Is that the same?
Those are awesome cars scottsmith. How hard to make? If I get the engine, I will look you up. I would have assumed mth would have made matching cars.
The passenger cars are the V&T railking Overton cars. I used a little lacquor thinner and removed the lettering. I used white decal paper printed with my laser printer.
The cars are the 19th Century K-Line “husky line” cars. If you shop you can find these for about $10.00 each. I painted them black and decaled over them. Let me know if you need additonal help.
