Virginia museum posts 2012 attendance increase
Congratulations.
And there’s justifiable pride accompanying the potential. But the museums of the Western Virginia area acting together complementarily might be better for the Roanoke Con. & Vis Bur. and the overall economy, than a museum trying to be entitled the bringer of the “most outside tax revenue.”
It’s not my business, though.

I am very happy for the VMT, they work very hard and have an awesome collection. I have made many trips to Ronoake and always take a few minutes to visit. Ronoake is a railroad town and they do it better than anyone.
I am very happy for them. I have been there once and was amazed at their collection.

When Amtrak returns to Roanoke, I’ll be looking forwar to combining a visit with a train trip ,too.
