If these chemical trains are going to the Charleston area, and are delivered at Alloy, why are they taking the trains to Elmore? This item makes no sense.
William. Might be that the wording is a little confusing, but I understand it as meaning " delivered to Elmore crews " for the purpose of a crew change, maybe ?
The story completely missed a basic tenet of reporting: It doesn’t explain “why”: Why are these trains being routed via the ex-Virginian all of a sudden? Did the traffic materialize out of nowhere? Assuming not, tell your readers the “why”, not just the “what”.
This story was very poorly written. This traffic has been rerouted because NS wants to mothball the former NYC from Charleston north to Columbus, OH. The traffic now goes south from the Charleston area over the Deepwater route.
