I always wanted to see the full layout-Nice look at the MR&T
Nice tour, Cody. I can remember when Bob Montgomery, in town to broadcast a Red Sox game with the Brewers, visited our old MR&T layout on Seventh Street and admired our version of Montgomery Feed & Seed. But what’s with the caboose? The MR&T did away with cabooses on through freight trains back in the 1980s, just like the big railroads. We used boxcars and even container flats equipped with battery-powered flashing rear-end devices to keep the “Myrt” up to date!
Watched the first of many to come… Very nice. I’m already glad I subscribed, I second Tim’s comment on how I always wanted to see this layout.
Great ! a chance to see the layout. Every bit as good as I expected to be. I live in East Troy, just down the street from the old T.M.E.L.& R. Co. I wish we actually did exchange with the WSOR here in town !

the subscription price has already paid off. the first day of browsing video was great. and the tour of the MR&T is something I always wanted to see.
MR&T was my first stop on the new MR video plus. It was really great to see the layout from one end to the other. What a great start. Perhaps the Naugatuck will be the next stop. I really like the video so far. GRAT JOB MR!!

David–the hotlink for “New Videos” doesn’t appear to be working. I can click on any off the other category text headings and go to the appropriate page. However when I click “New Videos” nothing happens.
What type of operations setup is used on the layout? Will there be a video of this layout during an op session? Thanks
At the end of the Milwaukee, Racine , and Troy video. Cody let the draw bridge down to leave the layout . A month ago I ask Cody if anyone has every had a motorized bridge on their layout. I believe it is possible to create a draw bridge at that spot. I think that would add a lot more realism to a great layout . Great video thanks Steve
What scale speed are the trains in the MR&T being operated at? I looks like the perfect viewing speed to me. On my layout seems like I’m always running too slow or too fast.
I just love this layout and the great detail elements that you guys have included into one cohesive story of the MR&T. It must be a hoot to operate that layout on a schedule with all of the train moments that could be incorporated into an extended operating session. Congratulations on a great accomplishment and I hope that it keeps growing through the years. Thanks.

I am glad you’re doing a layout tour of the MR&T. If I may suggest, how about a “cab ride” around the layout? That’s something I’m sure many would like to see.
At the end cody mentions more videos to come of the MR&T. Is this still something that is in the works?
