Volker you will be pleased. I just watched a cab ride video and this is how German trains should be run and as I remember them from a couple decades ago.

It’s a run from Hannover to Dortmund. Lots of 200 km/h running and very little delays from red or yellow signals.

BTW the creator Leidenschaft Bahn shows the speeds of the train in the corner. He has several cab rides in his collection including a bunch of new ones this month.

It was his older runs from Hamburg to Gottingen and Gottingen to Frankfurt that were so painful to watch with lots of delays.

Unfortunately no date is given.

At the moment, the punctuality of ICE trains is extremely poor at only 62%. Trains arriving more than 6 minutes after schedule are considered late.

But here we have the journey of a train that was lucky not to be held up all the time.

The vid was posted May 7. From the colors it looks like spring so I’m guessing it was spring this year. I believe he’s a train operator.
