Here we go , lets get it rollin’
I just finished building a City Classics Kit of a Railroad Street company house
It was a fun kit for about $18
It can be configured several ways
with or without the side addition and the small adition can also be placed on the back of the house
my only negitive is that they only give you 2 sets of stairs and they should give you three
But at least they included some out door plumbing
Proto 2000 E8/E9 with soundtraxx DCC installed.
This week I’ve been planting trees of these 3 types:
Cedar:
Elm:
Conifer:
All three are from the Bachmann Scene Scapes series.
“Uh, boss? I found this waybill stuck behind the file cabinet… I wonder if they ever picked up that car?”

Hi all: An East bound freight with an Alco RSD-15 in the lead heading for the stone bridge over Stoney Creek.
Here’s my sweet little engine spotting a car at the Flour Mill.

Been working on a Walther’s Car Float for my CNJ Bronx Terminal.
I documented the process a bit on my site, which can be found here.
Great work everyone! And friday still ain’t even over. I’ll probably have some pics of something, lol, probably of my mock-up of the scenery as I throw it around to work out the town and such.
Nice start to the weekend folks!
Haven’t had a lot of time for the layout the last couple of weeks but managed to make and install labels for each of the toggle switches along the fascia board around the layout. Toggles are located right where the tortoise or other operated equipment is installed on the alyout, so finding the correct toggle is easily learned. That said labeling helps… Still have some work to get them all stuck down on flat black paint as nothing seems to want to stick to it. A glue stick may solve that.
I also started to install a new Programing Track next to my workbench. I plan on rewiring the “Team Track” to be just DCC and not be able to be used as a programing track. I will get Decoder Pro and start keeping data for each loco in the computer which sits just below the track on a small table next to the workbench. Wires going to the toggle are for building/scenery lighting. Another toggle will go next to it for an on/off switch to p[rotect the programing track from accidental shorts.
Gramps, your work is top shelf.
Great start, everyone.[tup]

Nice pictures, everyone. We got our camera back from the repair shop, and while re-organizing photos on the computer, I came across this one from the Fourth of July:
I took a “before” shot, and I’d forgotten about it completely. So, I took an “after” shot, 5 months later.
This has been the focus of most of my modelling over the second half of this year. Weimer’s Mill is over on the left, and the mill pond is about in the center. I just finished up the old Essex crossing the bridge, and the rocks to the far left are the Bragdon Foam ones which surround what will one day become Moose Bay.
I see some outstanding work by everyone so far.
I really like the car float by “FastTack” (Tim). Nice!
My layout expansion so far is just boards and track. Not much to photograph.
Happy Model Railorading!
Among other things, I LOVE the rivited iron/steel beam look you used for the fascia!
One aisle on the club layout.
jalajoie -How about showing us the REST of those aisles? That one pic is just a tease![tup][wow]

Thanks loathar,
I will post more photos in future WPF. Over the years ( member since 2001) I did post many scenes of our layout, in fact last week WPF I was showing our rendering of Stoney Creek bridge on the CP main line.
