ns has alot of “waffle” and other boxcars stored on the wabash line in montpelier ohio.are these lined up for repair or are they waiting to haul more auto parts?

Waffle cars aren’t exclusively for auto parts, Joe–but if yours are the 60-foot, high-roof variety, chances are that’s what they’re for.
(NS inherited a lot of Waffle-side cars from the Southern, most of which were more or less conventional 50-foot loader-equipped cars.)
