Wake Forest NC. are there any round robin groups. wow really! not one response in 24 hours

I have my layout running pretty much up to par at this time and I am interested in meeting with other modelers to inhance the operations. I am retried so I would even be interested in daytime meets. Are there other individuals with the same intrests. Or even a round robin group in the area. Contact joegibson5052@yahoo.com

Hooty,

Since my wife is off with the car with the maps in it, I’m not sure what is near what in NC. She’d have a better idea as she goes to northern GA several times a year. Have you tried a search using RESOURCES on the light gray line at the top right of this page? If not, you can click on that, then Model Railroad Groups. Enter your zip code and set the number of miles you’d travel. Not all groups are listed there, but it is a place to start. Also, check with your local hobby shop (if one exists) and see if they know of anything. You could also check Coming Events in the same section above to see if there are any shows in your area. Sometimes there will be ads even if the sponsering club isn’t listed.

Good luck,

Richard

Hooty:

You might try looking through the NMRA list of clubs in North Carolina. If you contact the clubs they might be able to refer you to the sort of group that you want. If you are close to a neighboring state you might check their club listings too:
