Wal-mart Norscot Heavy Equipment / in HO

Hello all,

My wife and I just got back from are local wal-mart. In an earlier post ,someone wrote that you could get the HO heavy equipment from good ole wally-world,didn’t believe them. Well they were right…went and bought all they had. Bought three Cat D5 dozers, two Cat pan scrapers, four Cat loaders, two Cat graders, three Cat track-hoe’s and a Cat klein water truck.

Would have bought more but the wife …gave me that look. You know the look…{like don’t you have enough}

So to whoever posted wal-mart has norscot HO…thanks for the info.

Patrick

Your welcome! There not bad detail for $5. I’ve seen them on die cast sites for $15-$18 each. I’m lucky enough to have the head of the toy dept. call me when she gets 1/87 stuff in.

Thanks again Loather . Come to think of it ,I have a conection at wal-mart too. I’ll have to talk to him and see if he can hook me up when they get more.

Thanks again for the info…

Patrick

oh no
now I have to check that out
I never got the cars went there twice

ahh

Thanks for the heads up. Will be visiting local WM this weekend…

I saw them at Kmart the other day. Didn’t have too many though.

You guys are lucky My walmart only has the cars picked up 17 of them today. I wasnt the Norscot heavy equipment. myabe its time I talk to the toy manager. I wonder if other members of this forum would pick them up for us unlucky guys hmmm.

Heres what I picked up.

Here is a Western Star made by Tonkin that I picked up in Timonium last week.

See now I am really jealous I want some of them.

I forgot to mention these are not the same as the $15-$17.00 Norscot seen in the
Hobby Stores or on the web.

are they lesser detailed then the Hobbyshops or ? And how much?

FRITSCHSR-I got the same ones you did. I’m going to do the same thing with mine.
MR had a good article on making tie downs and wheel chocks for this same equipment in the June 05 issue.(chains, chocks and shackles)
Does Norscot make 2 different levels of detail on these? Mine where in Norscot 1/87 scale packages.

The Wal-Mart ones come in a package similar to Matchbox & hot Wheels
cars, they say Built To Play on the package. The ones in hobby shops come
in a box shaped package and seem better detailed to me. Correct me if
I am wrong.

OK gimme a price cause my walmart doesnt think they can get them so I may have to rely on some of you fine people to get me some.

sign in aisle said you can order diecast on their web site
I haven’t tried yet

I looked for these on Walmart.com and cant find them guess we all arent special to get these.

I saw a couple this saturday at walmart ,if I am not mistaken does the package say 1/64 on them .
They had about 10 of the little cars
Rich

The $15.00 ones have movable hydraulic cylinders, Wal-Marts do not.
