Just back from a new super WMT 14 miles up the road. They have the newer Model Collection cars. For 1.97 each, I picked up several colors of a Jag Mark II sedan (1952?), an XK120 Jag (1950?), a 1957 Corvette, and what they called a Taurus, even labeled on the hood in tiny print, is very suspiciously close to a 1955 4 door Ford sedan, esp. the taillights, and looks NOTHING like a Taurus. The quality of all, except the Ford, really isn’t bad and the Ford is OK if you don’t put it right under someones face. Also got a 1955 Chevy 2 door sedan with a small camper trailer for 2.47. There were others, but I’m trying to keep to cars before 1960. Wish I could find old trucks at a reasonable price. Ken
Kenkal, if you look closely, I believe it is a Tanaus, sold in Europe. To me, it looked more like an old Nash Metro.
Tom
ooops. You’re right Tom. These old eyes just aren’t what they used to be. Thanks for pointing that out. Ken
The Ford is a Taunus, which was made by Ford of Germany in the 50s-60s, there were some exported to the US (as was the English Ford line of cars).
A large variety of 1/87 vehicles are showing up at Walmart, unfortunately the e-bay reseller clowns seen to snatch the bulk packs off of the shelves before any of us have the chance to see them!
