Does anyone know if walthers still make thier EX Train Miniatures 40’ box cars. They were a great deal. The detail wasn’t bad either even included sprung trucks.
Walthers still lists them in their Trainman line. They show them still available ready-to-run in Pennsy and Nickel Plate.
Thanks for the input. So I guess they aren’t available as kits. Most of the manufacturers are going the RTR route. They add metal wheels & plastic Knuckle couplers & raise the price 100%. Most can be assembled in less than 1/2 hr.so you’re paying $10 an hour for someone to assemble a kit for you,& have all the fun.
