i bought one several years ago. it never ran right. it kept stalling and made a lot of noise right out of the box. i ran it on my clubs ho layout. the gears kept moving around on the axles and it wouldn’t negotiate even broad curves without derailing. i had thoughts of making it part of a static scene on my layout if i ever went back to ho. i also thought about bashing it and mounting it on a flat car or gondola. there were some others on this site that have added dcc to it. it was back several months ago. maybe you could go back far enough and find it. it is a good model though and you should buy it if you want it
