Walthers corn unloading shed & silos: accurate feed mill?

i am thinking about getting a walthers corn unloading & storage shed and corn silos & elevator kit as a stand in for a feed mill on my HO scale Leelanau County Railway. Though these two kits are part of walthers ethanol refinery series, would the two kits make for an accurate portrayal of a small feed elevator operation?

Yes I use the unloading shed for my feedmill and it works great and ive seen pictures of them on illinois central modelers website.

I seen a number of things that could be used in a model of a feedmill. Those structures could stand in for just about anything —go ahead—have fun!!

BTW–go around your area and observe the mills/elevators—you’d see all manner of different approaches to plant design–

How did you manage to get one of those - it states October 2009 delivery in the latest Walthers flyer (granted, at this time of writing that’s tomorrow, but still). Edit: Huh - I just went to the website, and now it’s in stock - I swear it didn’t say that a few weeks ago (well, I don’t recall it saying in stock)

Anyway, the Corn unloading & Storage Shed (933-2974) looks pretty cool, and could be used for any number of industries, but it’s not 79.98 dollars cool I’m afraid (40 bucks…that’s a workable price point for me). Even more interesting will be what they call the Energy Center (933-2978) - that’s another building which can be used in many industries (and could use a price reduction of 50% - but that’s just my opinion)
