I ran into a problem with the door posts installation when following the instructions in this kit. All parts up to this point fit exactly with no room for error. The door posts next to the sides can be glued with about 1/16" variation. I continued reading the instructions to try to figure out where they went. There is another area that will cause problems as well. The doors and hinges must be placed loosely in the door frame and somehow kept there while trying to fit the frame to the door post and not getting any glue on the hinges. This would require several hands IMHO and I wonder if anybody has changed the sequence of assembly to ease the situation.
I can tell you what I did, and that’s about it, Bruce. I had the roof panels that held the top part of the “hinge” for each door handy, pre-glued, and when I was ready with three hands, I placed the door upright and into the appropriate orifice while placing the roof, or whatever it was (can’t really remember) on top of iy. I may have used something to prop it all up so that it was going to line up at corners with walls and such. Basically, insert door and then glue something else in place to keep the door “mounted”. In fact, I often place the item keeping something else in place first, and then pry it up or away, insert the object to be retained, and then press the first item back into place. This must be done in short order, but doesn’t have to be a panic. The glue will wait for a bit.

I just had a reminding look, and I can see that the doors are retained in the front wall of the roundhouse, a sort of lintel. So, I started on one side, did the lift and insert thing, then went to the next door, and when I lifted slightly to slide the middle door into place, that’s when I grew the third hand, and then I did the last. I would have used leftover foam chunks or something as wedges or supporting blocks to keep it all aligned and vertical while it dried.
